Medical commission examination procedures

Before the first aviation medical examination, you must provide the following:

  • personal identification document
  • medical certificate from your GP (diseases, injuries, operations)
  • statement from a doctor – psychiatrist, that there are no contraindications for work related to flights
  • statement from a doctor – narcologist, that there are no contraindications for work related to flights (certificate from a psychiatrist and narcologist, residents in Riga receive in psychiatric dispensary Tvaika iela 2; other cities and districts - in their district or city health centers)
  • lung X-ray (description)
  • nasal cavities X-ray (description and X-ray)

Documents must be in the state language (Latvian) or translated into English and notarized.

  • The certified statement be valid for 2 months. Before medical aviation re-examination, you must provide the following:

    • personal identification document
    • I; II; III class medical certificate

    If you want to get a medical conclusion on the same day, then we invite you to come on an empty stomach from 9:00 to 10:00:

    Those who undergo the medical commission for first time – every Tuesday and Friday
    For those who undergo re-commission – every working day.
    For stewards – every working day.
